About Taskshence Plumbing: A Plumbing Referral Service
Who we are
Taskshence Plumbing is a referral service for homeowners with a plumbing problem. That is the whole job. We help you find an independent local provider who handles emergency plumbing, sewer line repair or drain cleaning.
We are not a plumbing company. We do not own trucks or tools. Providers do the work.
Why this site exists
A burst pipe or a backed-up drain is stressful. Most people do not have a plumber's number saved. Searching while water spreads is a bad way to make a choice.
So we built a simple path. Read what you can safely do yourself. Know where we stop. Then reach a provider when the job gets past a wrench and a bucket.
How requests get routed
You call or send a request. You tell us the problem and your address. We pass that to a provider in our network who serves your area. The provider then speaks with you directly.
Call hours vary by provider. Many providers can respond quickly, but availability depends on who is open and how busy they are. Request a callback to check provider availability.
What we ask of providers
Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to:
- Explain the problem in plain words.
- Give a written quote before starting work.
- Tell you about changes in price before they happen.
- Treat your home with care.
You should still check a provider's license and insurance yourself. Rules differ from place to place, and that check is your right.
What we do not do
- We do not repair, clear or install anything.
- We do not set prices. The provider does.
- We do not promise a result or an arrival time.
- We do not decide what your insurance covers. Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.
How we are paid
We want you to know this up front. Providers in our network may pay Taskshence Plumbing for connecting them with homeowners. You do not pay us to make the connection. You pay the provider for the work, at the price in your written quote.
Seasons shape the work
Cold snaps, deep frost, summer storms and spring flooding all bring plumbing trouble in the Lorain area. A little planning helps. Check your sump pump before the wet season. Know where your main shutoff is before winter.
